Summer holidays are already in sight, but are you still looking for safe destinations to choose from? Nowadays, safety is one of the priority factors when choosing a destination. That's why we've put together our Top 3 Safe Destinations. We'll also give you tips for choosing your destination according to the purpose of your trip: romantic, family, or individual.

1.Iceland

Do you have an adventurous spirit and enjoy exploring nature? Then it looks like you've found your destination faster than you expected. Iceland boasts stunning landscapes and countless outdoor adventures. You can visit glaciers, volcanoes, and hot springs, go hiking and try ice climbing or snorkelling in crystal-clear waters. If you want to take advantage of the long days and mild temperatures, we recommend travelling during the summer (June to August). But if aurora borealis is on your bucket list, you should choose to travel in winter, when the nights are longer and darker.

On this island located in the far north-west of Europe, in the North Atlantic region, you'll find a dream destination. The crime rate is one of the lowest in the world and the political and social stability allows residents and visitors to enjoy a safe environment.

2.Norway

Looking for a quieter, more contemplative approach to your family trip? Then the peaceful landscapes of Norway are your next destination. Make it a priority to embark on a cruise through the majestic fjords, explore the lush forests, and relax in a lakeside cottage, appreciating the natural beauty of the surroundings. Visiting picturesque coastal villages and historic wooden churches must also be included in your itinerary.

We advise you to book your trip in the summer (June to August), as this is when the days are longer and the temperatures milder. In addition, summer is when festivals and cultural events take place, giving you the chance to get to know Norwegian traditions.

This region in northern Europe, on the Scandinavian peninsula, also has one of the lowest crime rates in the world, in a society that values social well-being above all else, creating a safe and welcoming environment for everyone.

3. New Zealand

Are you planning a trip with your loved one and looking for safe destinations full of excitement? New Zealand is not only an adventurous but also a relaxing destination. Hiking on scenic trails, boating on the lake, or wine tasting in picturesque wineries are just some of the options for those who want to get to know this island country located in the southwest Pacific Ocean.

If you're choosing the dates for your trip, we recommend spring (September to November). Autumn - March to May - can also be a good option, as the climate is milder, and the landscapes are in full bloom, or the leaves are changing colour.

New Zealand is also in the Top Safe Destinations for its hospitality and very low crime rate.
